WELCOME TO POLAR BEARS FOOTBALL CLUB

Polar Bears FC is a 100% volunteer-run organization, based in Jackson Township in Stark County and our success depends fully on the teamwork of our volunteers, parents and players. Everyone’s involvement, including you, can and will help create an environment where all players can strive for success both on and off the pitch.

There are many ways to participate and help the club, like team managers, social media managers, event planning, fundraising organizers, web and content creation, coaches or even becoming a board member.

Practice & Game Information
All of our teams will have practices in Jackson with most training
sessions at Strasser Elementary School on the new U12 Field.

Spring Season:
Practice - will start in early April
Games - begin mid-April and will run to mid-June.

Fall Season:
Practice - will start in early August
Games - begin mid-August and will run to mid-October.

Winter Season:
Practice - will start in Late October
Games - begin mid-Nov. and will run to mid-March.
with two 10-week winter sessions running consecutively.

Team Alignment
We organize our teams by the players academic year, so your child’s “soccer age” is
the same for Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons(not the calendar year). Your child's
soccer age is based on their age on July 31.

U8: 1st & 2nd grade
U10: 3rd & 4th grade
U12: 5th & 6th grade
U14: 7th & 8th grade
U18: 9th–12th grade

Recreational Soccer (U8 - U18)
 (In partnership with Northwest Jackson Soccer League-NJSL in fall season)

 All games are played at Jackson South Park on Saturday mornings.
Players must purchase a jersey unless you are reusing one from previous season.

Competitive Soccer (U8 - U18)
 (For more experienced players looking for some tougher competition)

- Spring and fall games are held at Diamond Community Park.
Games are scheduled for Saturday and/or Sunday, with a season ending tournament weekend.
Two practices per week for 1.5 hours.
Players must purchase a current jersey.

- Winter games are played at various local locations and different
leagues, dependent on the age group.
Typically one practice per week for 1.5 hours.
Players must purchase a current PBFC jersey.
